Often times, I take for granted our warmer than usual winters here in California. While we have a winter with random days of rain this year, it’s nothing of the white winter that people experience in other areas of the world. Our celebrity fashionistas, Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Rabee’a Yeung (楊洛婷), and Zanila Zhao (赵丽颖) shows us how to dress for fun in several winter situations: warm winter, night out, and cold winter.
Nancy Wu’s Bright Yellow Cardigan
I’ve never been a fan of yellow clothing because I don’t have a lot of brights in my wardrobe, but it’s on trend this season. If all black is your usual like myself and you need an fun switch up, throw on your softest longline cardigan. Nancy looks so warm with her hands in her pockets. Black lace-up boots, jeans, black top, and a necklace accessory necklace is all you need. Depending on wear you live, you might need to top it with a parka as well.

Rabee’a Yeung’s Sparkles Skirt
Being a fashionista and former beauty queen, Rabee’a knows the tricks for the most rocking night out getup. Most of her pieces are basics like a black top, long boots, and leather jacket. Many people shy away from sparkle skirts, but it’s actually really easy to wear with all black everything! If you want an extra layer of warmth, wear tights below your skirt. Even she boasts that her husband (on the right) can’t stop looking at her.

Zanila Zhao’s Mustard Yellow Beanie
Living and breathing the yellow trend this seasons is also Zanila. Zanila’s utilitarian city chic look is everything to die for. I have some version of every piece in her outfit and every girl should as well. Instead of the all black monochromatic look, she opted for a white crew-neck sweater with her black jeans and booties. A fur-lined olive parka is all you need to battle the weather outside no matter how terrible it is. I absolutely love her mustard yellow beanie and the added color looks adorable on her. This look is the ultimate winter look.
You can buy beanies as low as $3 at H&M so I definitely won’t pass up this opportunity to make your winter outfits a little fun. If you live somewhere with a real winter, you will definitely get your bang for your buck.
